East Coast Research and Development (ECRD)
ECRD is a public charitable trust, registered under Tamilnadu Trust Act,Govt.Reg.No:97/IV/02. The ECRD was created for the purpose of Protection, Conservation and Promotion of the Gulf of Mannar, the National Marine biosphere Reserve, the Western Ghats, Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, Koonthankulam Birds Sanctuary and the River Tamirabarani, life-line to the people living in Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli Districts.
